Clay House Candles

Clay House Candles is a brand built around sensory experience. Their products are candles, but they’re designed to feel like something familiar. Inspired by food, textures, and everyday objects, each piece taps into a sense of touch and nostalgia, turning scent into something you can almost hold and recognise before you even light it.

The challenge was that their existing DIY branding didn’t reflect any of this. It felt disconnected from the product itself and wasn’t speaking to the audience they were trying to attract. The candles had personality, but the brand didn’t carry it through.

The goal with the new identity was to bridge that gap. To create something that felt as playful and tactile as the products, while still being clear and appealing to their audience. The direction focused on bringing that sensory, product-led thinking into the visuals, so the brand doesn’t just show what they make, it feels like it too.
